TODAY ON HIGHWAY 20 THROUGH GRAYSON….4:15PM - 5:30PM

Calling All Grayson Business & Residents!!!!

Let's honor 1st Lt. Joseph Helton with a hero's tribute and line the streets of our fine city!

Lt. Helton was a 2003 honor graduate of Monroe Area Comprehensive High School and a 2007 honor graduate of the U.S. Air Force Academy. He was killed September 8th while serving our Country in Iraq.

LINE THE STREETS...HIGHWAY 20 & HIGHWAY 78
(GRAYSON - HIGHWAY 20 & (LOGANVILLE - HWY 78)
Lt. Helton will arrive at Briscoe Field in Lawrenceville between 3:00 and 4:00 p.m.

The caravan will leave Briscoe Field at approximately 4:00-4:15pm. He will be escorted down Highway 20 by local law enforcement through Grayson to Loganville between 4:15-5:15.

The caravan will turn right down Main Street in Loganville, left on highway 78 to Monroe, right onto Highway 11 through downtown Monroe to the funeral home.

The hope is that members of the community will line Broad Street from Downtown Monroe to Meadows Funeral Home on HWY 11 on Tuesday evening (September 15th) between 4:00-5:30 p.m. to honor Joseph and his family.
Times are approximate depending on arrival time at Briscoe Field: Loganville -3:30-4:30; Grayson 4:30-5:30 and Monroe - 5:30-6:30.
