Grayson GA Mural Artist Diana Thurmon

Did you know there is a very talented mural artist right here in Grayson?

Meet Diana Thurmon.

"Color, vibrancy and design are the first things you notice in the paintings of this Grayson, Georgia artist. She is attracted to varied subjects and works in many mediums, including oils, acrylics, watercolor and pastels. Additionally, she is equally comfortable with realistic, representational and abstract forms of expression and will often paint a favorite subject in various styles "just for fun."

Diana particularly enjoys customizing murals for homes and businesses. Her trompe l'oeil (fool the eye) effects add dimension and interest to a room. She is particularly fond of this work as it makes such an impact on a client's personal or professional environment. She recently developed a "portable mural" which can be relocated at will for decorating ease or for use in another room. Her experience with pet portraiture and wildlife paintings is often incorporated into her custom murals.

Diana created the cover paintings and illustrations for several books, including the award winning The Story of a Lifetime. Some of her paintings are available in limited edition prints and her originals hang in private and corporate collections throughout the United States.
Her work has been shown in many Atlanta galleries and throughout the southeast. "

She receives clients in her Grayson studio by appointment.
